Starting with our release of software version 2.00 and firmware 3.00,
you can now use the radio's squelch as an aid to validate a fingerPrint.
With software Ver 2.82 and above go to the Config menu and select External
Squelch if you have connected your radio's squelch line. If you have
not, leave it un-checked. If the squelch is "normal", goes low to high
when a signal comes on then check that option. If it is the opposite,
you must check it. If you get an error message "Transmission too short"
it has something to do with the squelch settings not being correct.

Prior to version 2.82 you had to short pin 19 to ground on either the
interface adaptor card or the DC37 connector. If you are upgrading to
2.82, remove the jumper or ground from pin 19, and remove the VZ8 (or VZ08)
command from your batch file. You must then go set the squelch settings
in the config menu.

We now offer the TxPorter, a parallel port interface that will allow you to
plug your TxID card into the it and interface to a laptop for mobile
operations. This is built in a sturdy metal enclosure and comes with
a cigarette lighter adaptor for mobile use. This is now available at a
cost of $249.00.
